Wisdom in her eyes

An elderly native Lady I had the opportunity to meet while in Ecuador. Her pleasant and quiet demeanour, filled with the wisdom of a long life. I could feel the connection she had with nature and the peacefulness in her eyes. Something about her impressed me enough that I felt I wanted to paint her.
